Because you have an AMAZING product or service, duh!

So many of us get our self doubts. “Are we doing things right?” “Will people like what I have?” “I know I’m not as good as them, but my products are great.” “I have the same thing they can get at Nordstrom, why would they want mine?”   These self doubts are just the speed bumps in life to the road of success. Here are a few tips to help you evaluate your business and reveal why customers should buy from you:.
1. Develop a unique value of your business (UVB): Sit down with a marketing or branding expert to evaluate your target market and reiterate your competitor advantage. Is there another approach you can hit that competitors have not?
2. When marketing yourself with brochures, flyers, ads, etc.: Make sure to make reading materials easy to scan. Readers today don’t read, they scan. Make your marketing materials with headers that stand out and make important information ‘pop’ more than the information that isn’t important. Make your call to action easy see such as ‘call about our free service at 888-555-7777′.
3. Develop a powerful core message. Customers should buy from you because you  have a powerful message. A message that gets key points across such as filling a need the consumer has (along with being convenient and having great customer service.):-). Avoid clutter. Clutter leads the prospect away.
When we started this company about 5 years, I had some doubtful feelings if I was making the right career choice. After all I was a little fish in a large ocean of sharks pouring my heart and soul into my work for little in return. We all have competitors and we all have something great to offer.  I knew what I was destined to do and that was to use the art skills God has given me. What a waste if I didn’t! Always believe in what you are doing, continue to reinvent your business and re-evaluate if things need to change in the structure. Take my word for it, the speed bump doesn’t last forever:-)

I couldn’t have said it better myself! Businesses are ever-changing, and with so much competition, it is easy to fall behind. Keeping your product competitive and making your brand stand-out from the rest are so important to success.
